Do I need to download an app?
No download required. WeDisc runs entirely in your browser on any phone, tablet, or computer. Open it on the first tee and you're playing in seconds — no app store, no account required, no install friction. Just open the link and go.
Is it really free to play?
Yes — the beta is completely free to join and play. Skins game stakes ($1–$2 per hole) are set by your group and settled between players. We don't touch the money during beta. No platform fees, no subscriptions, no hidden costs. Premium features launch July 2026.
What exactly is We Challenge?
We Challenge is a rewards-driven challenge platform where you pick a goal, commit to it, track your progress, and earn real prizes when you succeed. WeDisc — our disc golf skins game — is the live beta proof of concept. The same verified infrastructure is being built for cornhole, pickleball, golf, fitness challenges, learning goals, and more.
Think of it as the accountability partner you never had — except it pays you, and it verifies the work.
Who can participate? Are there age restrictions?
We Challenge is open to anyone 18 years of age or older located in the United States. Full eligibility details are in our Terms of Service.
How does the skins game work?
Each hole is worth a set stake ($1–$2, agreed by the group before teeing off). If one player wins a hole outright with the lowest score, they take the skin. If two or more players tie, the pot carries over to the next hole (called a push). Log scores hole by hole, handle aces and side games at The Turn, and settle up at the end with a verified scorecard. The math is automatic — no receipts, no disputes.
What are side games and how do they work?
At The Turn (after hole 9), WeDisc unlocks optional side games including the Long Drive Carnival — where players record their tee shots for distance verification, and the winner takes a separate pot. Ace pools and additional side games are coming with the full July 2026 launch.
What happens when someone gets an ace?
WeDisc automatically detects ace scores when logged. The "ACE DETECTED — Oracle is Watching" screen triggers, flagging the result for verification. The Truth Engine then requires forensic confirmation before the ace is recorded in the ledger. No unverified aces get counted — ever.
How does settlement work at the end of the round?
After the final hole, WeDisc generates a Scorecard Review showing each player's total payout. Players confirm results, and the ledger is sealed via OCR scorecard attestation — meaning you scan the physical scorecard to lock in the result. Once committed, the settlement is final and tamper-proof. Payouts happen between players directly; WeDisc handles the calculation and verification.
How is progress tracked and verified?
WeDisc uses a combination of self-reported scoring, milestone checkpoints, and our patent-pending Truth Engine verification system. For the skins game, OCR scorecard scanning seals the final ledger — meaning the physical scorecard is scanned and matched to the logged scores before any settlement is confirmed. Fraudulent activity or falsified scores result in immediate disqualification.
Is We Challenge patented?
The core verification concept behind the Truth Engine — our system for verifying challenge outcomes across any competition format — is patent-pending. This is proprietary technology we've built from the ground up. It's what makes We Challenge fundamentally different from every other challenge or skins app on the market: we don't run on the honor system.
What makes We Challenge different from other apps?
Most challenge and skins apps run on the honor system. Players self-report, nobody verifies, and disputes happen. We Challenge is built around verified outcomes — our patent-pending Truth Engine confirms results before anything is settled or paid out. That's what makes winning mean something. Your result becomes a verified record, not just a memory.
How do rewards and prizes work?
During beta, skins game payouts are settled directly between players — WeDisc calculates and verifies, you settle up on the course. When the full platform launches July 2026, prize pools will include cash, gift cards, sponsor gear, and swag packs. Every challenge will show its prize structure upfront before you commit.
How does We Challenge make money?
Beta is always free. Our revenue comes from three streams — none of which take money out of players' pockets:
1. Pro Subscription ($9.99/mo): Access to verified rankings, sanctioned rounds, and prize pool qualification via the Truth Engine.
2. Verified Hubs: Local disc golf shops and courses pay a monthly fee to become official check-in locations, driving verified foot traffic through their doors.
3. Platform Fee (3–5%): For competitive prize pools, we retain a small fee to cover verification and audit overhead. Every dollar beyond that goes to players.
When does the full app launch?
July 2026. The full launch includes cash prize pools, ace runs, XP rewards, live leaderboards, sponsor prizes, and an expanded challenge library beyond disc golf. Join the beta now to be first in line — and your feedback directly shapes what gets built.
What's coming beyond disc golf?
We Challenge is the platform WeDisc runs on. The same patent-pending verification engine is being designed for cornhole, pickleball, golf, fitness challenges, learning goals — any competition worth verifying. Disc golf is where we're proving the concept. Everywhere competition lives is where we're going.
